Malaysian Postgrad BBQ dinner....
despite of being buried deep in tones of assignments... managed to escape the tense for a while... went to the Malaysian Victoria Postgrad BBQ at Malaysia Hall... sian ad didn't get to go, he had 9-5 class plak... takpe, i ate for him & even tapau for him some food gak.. hehe
it was a nice event... get to know many new people & catch up with the old ones... & the food definetly nyam2... makan byk tak hengat2... :) it was actually a pot luck... so ppl brought so many food that despite of eating non-stop, i still didn't manage to cover all the dishes on the table... of course la the main target was the bbqed food... chicken, lamb, beef, hotdogs... then, the Malaysian dishes... nasi impit, kari daging, kek pisang, keropok... isk missed plak the laksa... couldn't fit my tummy anymore hehe & the sandwiches, nak tengok pun dah tak larat heheh...
eh lupa, urs truly actually brought the chocolate banana to be bbqed... hmmm... slice the banana lengthwise, fill in the slice with chocolate chunks (any chocolate will do, but my fav is white chocolate & mars) & wrap with the aluminium foil.... bbq it & walla! the chocolate will melt on the banana & u'll get a very yummy chocolate banana... careful hot filling! baru tau actually if u use marshmallow pun sedap... & some ppl even bakar it together with the skin skali...

from the event also i realised there were so many ppl who come here with all sorts of pengorbanan... many wives & mommies left their husband & children in Malaysia (kak emi just got married 3 weeks ago dah tinggalkan hubby dia), spouses quit their jobs (termasukla my beloved hubby), also ramai get to be mak buyung while studying too... all for the sake of the knowledge that they are after... from them i learnt to be tough la... kena kuat semangat, cannot complain2 so much anymore...
