roach & shroud.....
we became the roach buster today as it seems that the roaches have turned our home into their playground... suke2 hati merayap2 sane sini... eeeek yuck! we did some spring-cleaning & search for their nesting port... found it in the darkest corner of the kitchen cabinet under the sink.... eeeuuuwww i had goosebums at the sight of it... realizing that their nesting place is about to be invaded, they started crawling everywhere in the cabinet... luckily all the stuffs in the cabinet have been removed & my hero came to the rescue sucking all the creepy-crawly with his special weapon... the vacum... hehe
fortunately the coakroach here are not as big as the one in malaysia... they're more like baby roaches & they don't fly too... or else i'll scream... hehe... but they are still yucky...
after we've accomplished our mission, we placed some roach baits around the apartment to make sure it will roach free always...
then only i have the pleasure to do my afternoon routine... cook... & since today is sunday, cooked something a bit special... we had ox tail soup for lunch! some ppl said that this thing might make you restless throughout the night... i think it's only a myth... but if it is true... i don't really mind... afterall it is our anniversary eve... wink! wink! heheh...
on a more solemn note... today will be exactly a year after a tragedy befall my family... we lost our beloved pak long & mak long forever... i still am & will always miss them a lot... on that day too, i've started to envy all other wedding ceremonies as i've missed a chance to be happy in mine... (it's not that i like that feeling... but i just can't help it...) i'm sure many people dream to a have a white wedding... but not as white as mine... shroud white... anyway, i'm still grateful that despite of the tragedy... ad & i finally fulfilled our dream to be together... it might not end as a fairytale... but we do wish that we'll live happily ever after... & may God bless pak long's & mak long's souls in heaven... AMIN!
