sehati sejiwa sakit gigi...
as scheduled today i met the...
yup... he did supply the loss of my 2 teeth... only that his name is not Mr. S. D Saxe... but Dr. Tristan Madden... who was a very nice dentist... gentle & full of encouragement troughout the surgery... despite all that, i still felt that the surgery was not a pleasant experience at all... of course the surgery was performed under anaesthetic & the only pain i felt were when the dentist inject the anaesthetic to my gum and inner cheek & then i felt nothing much except as if my cheek & jaw grown twice it size... but still it was a bit horrifying & uncomfortable when you are fully aware that the dentist was keep on knocking & pulling your teeth for about 40 minutes... i cringe everytime i heard his instrument scrapping & drilling my teeth... while he himself was having a pep talk with his nurse... the procedure seems so casual to him... i'm sure he had conducted hundreds of the same operation before this but it didn't stop me from worrying... what if, he take out the wrong tooth... what if he accidentally drill my cheek or gum or tongue instead of my teeth...
Alhamdullillah the surgery went well... in fact Dr. Tristan & his nurse congratulated me for doing a great job being so brave throughout the surgery... i'm sure they were just being nice to me... i'm the one who were suppose to thank them... & i did... i was only a bit dissapointed that i wasn't allowed to keep the teeth because of the clinic policy & i even forgot to take a look at the teeth after the surgery... i only saw a glimpse of the bloody tooth when the dentist took it out...
now i only have to bear with the pain for several days after the numbness worn off... bought the prescribed antibiotics & pain killers... i'm currently on a soft diet... only having porridge for all my meals... it is still uncomfortable especially when the pain killers effects worn off & whenever i accidentally gave pressure to my cheek when i lie down or whenever the porridge get stuck at the wound... ouch!
at the same time ad is also having wisdom toothache... his wisdom tooth decayed & the decay already reach the nerve... he felt the pain since we reach home from gold coast... been rolling on bed bcoz of the pain since then... poor thing... i'm not sure what to do... i'm in pain myself... his appointment are only scheduled this monday... till then he need to bear with the pain & share my pain killers... i think both of us wont be enjoying real food for at least a week... isk... hmmm we are really 'sehati sejiwa'....
