jinxed wisdom tooth
My wisdom tooth must be jinxed... my dentist appointments have been cancelled 3 times & all for bad reasons... I'm sure almost all of you had bad experience with your wisdom teeth... they surely hurt a lot!
I think 3 of my wisdom teeth erupted without much problem... they did hurt a lot but I can barely remember when they actually stop growing... but the one on my lower right jaw seems to be giving me problems forever...
2 years ago when it started to appear, the gum was swollen big time... it really hurts even if I tried to open my mouth too wide... obviously, I couldn't eat real food at that time... only ate porridge for several days, & I think I remembered catching a fever too... it was horrible..
went to the dentist & discovered that I have impacted wisdom tooth which mean there's not enough space at the gum for the tooth to erupt... so it came out a bit slanted & created a gap between the wisdom tooth & the tooth in front of it... food tend to get stuck in the gap... that was why my gum was swollen & hurts more... so the dentist decided that the tooth need to be removed...
I had an appointment a week after that to get it removed but unfortunately the appointment was cancelled coz the dentist had an accident & broke his leg... however at that time it stopped hurting & swelling & the tooth didn't bother me much anymore... so, I didn't schedule for another appointment... furthermore, I was more worried about my sick brother back then...
Since then, I’ve decided that I might keep the tooth... I’ve asked other dentist during my regular check up about it & she said it might not be a problem for me to keep the tooth but she was wrong :( last week it get uncomfortable again... food tend to get stuck in the gap more often... & I’m seeing glimpse of decay on the tooth, so I decided to make another appointment at the uni dental service... unfortunately the appointment was cancelled coz the dentist's mother passed away... isk, when the admin officer rescheduled my appointment, I jokingly told her that I might have bad luck when it comes to dentist appointments... she just laughed & wished that the next appointment should be okay...
haha me & my big mouth & maybe 'mulut masin' too... isk... today my appointment was cancelled again... the nurse who assists the dentist had a nasty car accident & admitted to the hospital... These are indeed weird coincidences... & I hope the admin lady was wrong about the jinx hehe... wish me luck for tomorrow appointment
